Some while back, I bought a Pietta 1851...

See this thread


While at Cabela's today, I found a parts kit from Pietta for it. Hammer, trigger, all springs, and all parts in the frame for $24. Should get it running this week.

Don't know. This kit is supposed to fit anything that 1851 Navy parts fit, and VTI gun parts has a common parts kit for the Rem 1858.

Got the parts installed in my pistol tonight. Noticed I am still short one wedge screw. Will have to order one from VTI.
