Non-BP range trip.
« on: June 14, 2015, 05:26:23 PM »
Took my wife's 10/22, and my Marlin .243 out to the range this afternoon to get them sighted in after doing some scope changes.

The area the range is in is prime antelope country...

Started by bore-sighting both. Then turned my wife loose to sight in her own rifle at 50 yards. Which she did off-hand!

Her final target, off hand at 50 yards...

My first target, off the rest at 100 yards, after bore sighting. I'm going to call the group size a fluke. After this, the wind kicked up and I was hard pressed to get it centered on the bull.

My target at 100 yards. You can see the 4th shot went two inches higher...

Me shooting the Marlin. My own stock camo job...

Speaking of antelope, my wife got this snap shot out the window of our moving pickup on the way home...

EM, nice that you have that range close by to shoot long (and shorter) distances.
