My favorite is the 1851 Navy .36, but I also like the Confederate "copies" to include the L&R, G&G, S&G, August Machine Works, Columbus, and .36 Dance (did I forget any?). Since they all are based upon the 1851 platform, I feel you should have included them in the same category. I like the look and feel of the platform, even with the Dragoon-type part-octagon/part-round barrel. To me, "other" Confederate revolvers would be the Cofer, the Sisterville, and other non-Colt-type pistols. Maybe I misunderstood your definition.
My favorite "fantasy" pistol is an 1851 Navy .36 squareback with the L&R barrel and plain cylinder, the pistol I think Colt should have offered as the 1851 Navy Dragoon.
Anyway, you know how I voted.
