Hi Hawken, very nice, but did you say that your Uberti 1851 has a correct arbor length? Does the cylinder/barrel gap not change as you hammer (soft faced hammer) in the barrel wedge?

If your new Uberti 1851 doesn't change the gap with wedge force, it's time to send up the rockets and tell the world that Uberti finally got their arbor lengths correct. I would be delighted to know they finally came around.

Regard,
Richard

What is the datecode? I have a 2015 Uberti Navy with the brass trigger guard and it has a short arbor.

Hi Hawken, I'm still looking forward for an answer to my question if your revolver barrel/cylinder gap changes with wedge pressure.

Regards,
Richard

Well i got to shoot the Mistriss of London today,,,,,,  goin to have to find me a 380 mold. 375 is not quite big enough.Allright for plinkin but not goof enough. Bout a 3 inch group at 15 feet. No ring of lead with the 375s so i only shot one cylinder with beeswax and olive oil pill on top of the ball.None backed out with recoil but i dont trust it.
Had to shave off A burr on the arbor at the wedge slot Now she goes together better.
