Hi, this is a new video review of the Uberti 1851:

I got a kick out of his comment on Pryodex.  ^j)

I find his videos painful to watch at best.   Some people are skilled and comfortable in front of a camera.   I'm not one of them and neither is Duke.

Hi Kirk, his comment on casting temperature causing lead hardness was nonsense. Pure lead anneals at room temperature. Heat it, beat it, and pure lead anneals at room temperature in minutes.

While there are issues in the video, I always give credit to those willing to put themselves out with videos to inform new users. I haven't' had that courage.

Regards,
Richard

I must concur. It is not like copper which anneals with heat, but hardens with work pressure. To my knowledge lead does neither. He must have some other metal mixed in with the lead, like antimony and/or tin.

I agree with both of you.
