Old boot knife or garter dirk

Manhatten Cutlery Sheffield not marked England so maybe pre 1890

Decent used shape

Need to get a sheath made

I can do a sheath for you Joel.    Strap to your leg,  clip on your boot,  paddle/pancake style.   Lots of ways to go.

That's a fancy old stabber you have there,  very nice.

Of course,  Kydex and nylon just wouldn't do.

I've got an old one made in Germany. It had a young boars foot on it that was half rotten and I swapped it for a piece of deer antler.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and tasteth good with ketchup.

Kydex is a newer blended material    acrylic / pvc      many commercial holsters are made of it today  long wearing and tough but definitely not  traditional

they did have metal spring clips back kn the 1800's so a spring clip to boot would be acceptable
some were sewn in, some used a lace through side of boot, most were strapped to the calf 
So it's your choice how you would like to go.
