Attached are some pictures of the new to me Kentucky half stock rifle I got for my birthday. It was made between 1835 and 1844 by Levi Biddle. It is a 32 caliber squirrel gun. The gun is in great condition with 13 engraved silver inlays. Note the brass pieces to protect the wood around the nipple. A black powder gunsmith has told me he would have no issues with shooting it as it is in very good condition!
I must apologize in advance for the quality of my pictures. I do not have the artistic eye some of you do in posting such fantastic photos of your arms.
I feel very blessed to own this fine firearm.
