Someone gave me a couple bags of CVA .451 balls that were oxidized like that and I threw them in my vibratory tumble with walnut shell media and once they were shiny I put them in a new bag and sprayed them with WD-40.  They've stayed nice for over a year.  I did the same with some unlubed .54 maxi balls I was given.  GF

It's actually a Sporting Rifle. I believe the barrel is 32" long.
