Morning Cap,
      I noticed that you used 50 grains? Why does Uberti suggests less grains of powder for the Walker? Covering themselves?

The Walker will actually hold up to 60gr of 3F if loading with a roundball.

The Walker will actually hold up to 60gr of 3F if loading with a roundball.

60 grains is only five grains less than a military charge for an 1861 Springfield with a 500 grain minie ball.

Considering the originals were made from wrought iron I'd have to agree. They're still made from pretty soft steel tho. Probably close to what original Remington's were made from.
