Holly Grips on a pair of Man With No Name Conversions
« on: May 05, 2014, 10:31:07 AM »
Got my Man With No Name Conversions back from the grip maker last Saturday after he installed some American Holly grips on them.  They look a little yellower in the picture than they actually are.

The Uberti Man With No Name conversions come with a rear sight dovetailed into the barrel.

I like the way they look, in the photo.  It will be interesting to see what they do when they age a bit.

YEP.  And the barrel is .357, not .375.  They are very accurate pistolas - the front sight is twice as tall as a C&B 1851 Navy

Yep and they're actually built on the Open Top frame so are not technically a conversion. There's a tricky ejector disguised as a loading lever. Been wanting one or two myself.

That's the way to do it. A .357 slug rattling around in a .375 bore is a pretty piss-poor combo. Beautiful set, Fingers. You WILL be entering them in the banner contest, no?

Hadn't thought about that.  Already entered a pair of Nickel 2nd Gens.  Mayhaps I should get a really good picture of these to enter too.

... There's a tricky ejector disguised as a loading lever...

Can someone expound on that?  I see what appears to be a two piece loding lever but not sure how it would function.

Drop the loading lever, take the front half off & use it to poke cases out.  Unless I have a split case that sticks, my cases usually fall out of the chambers and I don't need the stick.

Yeah, my Super Black Hawk is much the same.
