Public range
« on: October 30, 2014, 09:00:46 AM »
Friends and I shoot at this range 2-3 times a year. I wish it was closer as it is an hour's drive. The range is free (voluntary donation) every day except Law Enforcement Tuesday. Up until a year ago it was just an open field with a berm at the end. An Eagle Scout took the range on as his project and this is how it looks now. Sorry for the poor pictures.

There is also a 100 yard high power range, but I didn't get a picture of that.

Looks like that Eagle Scout fulfilled his community service project very nicely.

Yes, it is free, but there is a donation box to help maintain the range. This is what the range looked like before the improvements
