Rainy, foggy, and overcast. In short, it sucks today.
Fortunately, no flights.

More rain...
It rained on & off all weekend, Sunday was rainy and disgustingly humid. K_)
Launched the plane this AM, now waiting for them to return....sometime today..... :D

Smoking bone in pork loin for pulled pork...





Also smoking jalapenos I picked from the garden this morning.


Had to silver solder the front sight back on my Hawken rifle. No idea how it had been attached, but the dovetail was a little too big, and the sight fell off on the range last trip.

Need to hang a new peanut feeder for the birds.

Need to make cheesecake.

Maybe sweet potato salad.

Need to make a run to Sprouts and Costco.

Made the cobbler last night, so that's done. Need to clean my .243 and the wife's 10/22.

The 10/22, by the way, operated flawlessly on these...




And discovered our yard gnome drinks Maker's Mark. Who'd have guessed it?

One of our wonderful truck mechanics destroyed our 3 year safety record the day before yesterday. This pinhead was drilling a hole through a piece of metal for a new tank. It kept flexing away from his drill bit, so he backed up the metal - WITH HIS FREAKIN' HAND! The drill bit went through the metal, and right through his hand. And then to prove his mental capacity, he pulled the drill back out, with it still running, which spooled up his tendons on the drill bit!

That makes me cringe just thinking about it.
A hole will heal. Tendons...not so much.
