What did you do today?
Mow the lawn? Feed the chickens? Load a semi-full of cement bags? Tell us about it...we don't care how far off track or how boring! Pictures welcome! *6'

Thursday, I had two sharpening events.  The first one was a standard event, I sharpen at 18 stores in a high end grocery once a month.  The second event was a repeat customer.  I went to the local Brooks Brothers Shop and sharpened the tailoring shears for the tailors.  Good folks and they always try to sell me a suit!  Nothing they have go with my Justins.

I'm just sitting here playing with my newest 1858 Remmy .44 Brasser.  L@.

(sorry, no photos yet.....)

Max and I are going to go visit my sister Jenny here in a little bit. Just a little Family meeting over there. Might check out some yard sales over there too.
That's about it so far.....

So far, another quiet day at work, doing paperwork and general tidying up. No flights until Wednesday. It was supposed to rain like hell Friday night and Sunday, but all we got was some drizzle. Had a nice fire Saturday night, and shot the Bear Grizzly for about an hour...nice & peaceful.
Started watching 'Lonesome Dove'...up to episode 4 now. Never seen it before. I know, I know....you guys are like "What the hell, Cap'n...it's been out since the '80's!"
Better late than never, I say.

Unwired 240v single phase power from a field office that is being torn down, moved part of the circuits to a conex nearby, which required fabricating and running new conduit, and adding breakers to a different panel. Then we moved the remaining circuits to a new field office several hundred yards away, which required running new overhead power lines and dropping to a new weather head, riser and distribution panel. Then we started mounting new boxes for receptacles in the new office. After that's done, we'll mount new light fixtures in the office, run conduit to the boxes and light fixtures, and pull in wire for all of that. That may be tomorrow, or the next day, depending on how much work there is to do on the primary ore shovel tomorrow.

Hi, I went out today to see if I could locate any of the 200 crawfish I stocked in my pond yesterday. The crawfish came from a Louisiana supplier yesterday. Maybe the elusive crawfish heard they could be taxed here in New York State?  *6' *6' *6'

Some freshwater clams I ordered should be here any day.

I also took a little time to today to read some of Johnnie's BS on the Remmy board. Glad he hates Colts so we won't see him here.

Regards,
Richard

Went to my warm pool arthritis exercise session today (3X a week) in the AM. This afternoon I gathered up a few guns and ammo and other stuff to take shooting with a friend tomorrow, got everything in the garage ready to go. Then got out the pop-up camper, put the wheel with new tire on, checked the other tire and spare. We will be going to a Memorial Service in N. Illinois over the weekend, kinda like a mini reunion with several good rendezvous friends.
