*daughter, and she walked in the front door today like nothing happened.
We know better, Cartels, Heroin, etc. but she is maintaining she was just camping for three and a half days. We had our first snow (gone before it really accumulated, but still) on the Sunday she left.

At least you have her safe and sound. Sounds like time for some intervention.

Yes,  the best possible disposition for the moment.  I second C's suggestion of professional intervention.  That's pretty much a 'must'.

Her age again, I missed it and as for you, be supportive of her and just hang in.  Best regards.

14, yes.

Still threatening to run, and we've proven we have 0 control.. yay us.
Shipped her off to wife's brother's place in Nampa, Boise, (I haven't been there, I just know "Treasure Valley"), where Jenn has a contact that's a counselor, Faith-Based, so no gender morphing encouragement or free access to birth control and parents have no right to tell you what you can and can't do with your body. You have all the rights they don't (Yes, we've run into that before).
Wasn't where I wanted her, but should be good. Both of Jenn's siblings were chronic f*** ups as teens, but seem to have their heads on straight now, so let's hope and pray this works.

Those pots look well-used, EM! For a minute there, I thought you said "gun rack"! Shows you where my mind is.

Digging the rack EM.
Got to Florida from the Arctic (by comparison) state of Idaho. I could get used to this 76 degrees at 04:00...
Is 50 too young to be a snowbird? (asking for a friend).

Met up with a co-worker (best friend from Kellogg, which is the humble little berg at the top of the state I joined the Remmie forum from), (I got him the... {well he got himself, but I turned him onto this outfit}... job with me) dinner, drinks, conversation... life is good.
He managed to take my "CB radio virginity" and graced the new truck with a Cobra 29LTD Welcoming Gift.
Looks cool, need to tune the antennae...

You need to find a cb shop and have the radio peaked and tuned. SWR needs to be 1 or less but you probably already know that.

I didn't, thanks.
Have run a year and a half without one, this is a first. CB shop for the SWR tuning, and getting the radio peaked and tuned is next on the list.

Sounds like a good trip Hawg. At least it'll keep the wife happy...and that counts for a lot!

Had to take a week off leatherwork....but that was last week. Just had a couple daunting projects that I finished and was just getting burned out. I usually never make anything for myself, but since I acquired the open top...I had to have a new rig. Should finish it up in the next couple of days. The holster was a "mistake" (cut out backwards) and the leather was quite imperfect. It was from the group of movie army flap holsters I did......can't let it go to waste can I?

Then on to knife sheaths...... :)
