Chicken night
« on: July 29, 2015, 06:14:38 PM »
Tonight was the night to break in my new rotisserie unit. Brined the chicken in sea salt, granulated garlic, granulated onion, brown sugar and lime juice. Broiled in my new grill on the new rotisserie, and finished with a glaze of barbecue sauce, the recipe for which I cannot remember and will probably never repeat.

I'm not a big fan of "yard bird"  but that one looks delicious.

Chicken, done right, is actually better (IMHO) than beef. That looks done right.

I don't think so,  and I don't think Mr. Elliot would agree either.

Are you saying actors are endorsing products just for the paycheck and don't really support the products they advertise?    Aren't we supposed to believe everything they say and act accordingly.

Once a year, there is this thing called "Mile Long Yard Sales" near me here in Portageville, MO. It should be some time this month. Anyway, there was this old lady selling stuff...she made up some chicken jerky in little zip lock bags. Small bags. It was $2.50 a bag. Boy, that chicken jerky was GOOD! She had all kinds of jerky there. I was walking around eating the chicken jerky. Before we left, I went back and got 2 more bags of chicken jerky. I asked the lady how she made it, she said it's a trade secret. She would not tell me.

I'm hoping she will be there this time!  L@.
