Back in the 70's I bought a Classic Arms Twister. At that time you could get it finished or as a kit. I got the finished version with blued barrels and a satin frame and white grips. On the first shot one of the grips cracked down the middle. I made a set out of a mouse trap, BTW my wood working skills have NOT improved. )L$ Anyway it was fun for awhile but finally ended up in moms attic along with some of my other unused junk. I went and reclaimed some of it several years ago but it had gotten pretty bad.



I finally came across another set of grips for it and got around to working on it some. I couldn't get all of the pits out of it and blued it with some many years old cold blue. It came out with a  kind of grayish aged look which suits me pretty well. I like it anyway.

Looks like a nice rescue job to me Hawg.   I've seen some pretty poor looking ones for sale on GunBroker.  Yours looks way better than most.

First time I ever see one of these. As much as I usually prefer wooden grips, I must admit the white grips suit it well. In fact, it looks just like a gambler's 5th ace... Good job, Sir !
