'Random Shots'

The advent of cellphones has made snapping spur of the moment photos a reality. I know you guys handle your Colts on a daily basis (don't lie...how could you not?!!) so snap a few and post 'em up!

My Walker ready for a day of shooting with a 50 grain spout on the flask. I've been using that flask since 1969.

My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

"Cell phone?" I don't know either, shot this photo with a Polaroid camera in the 1990s. Used to fondle it before I sold it. A Signature Series nicked plated 1860 Colt with Ajax "ivory" grips.

My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

...and this photo taken with a cheap Brownie camera in 1969, my first cap and ball pistol, a brass framed 1851 (maker unknown) with the same flask as shown in the photo of my Walker posted above (photos taken 47 years apart).

My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

Interesting grips on your first Colt Captain. What maker is C.O.M.?

BC, you would have to view this post from Dr. Jim Davis on the Collector's Forum...

http://blackpowdersmoke.com/revolvers/index.php?topic=39.msg1628#msg1628

...and see if you can figure it out. After reading the whole thing a dozen times, I'm still not sure...
The grips are what caught my eye to begin with.

"C.O.M." is the manufacturer...

EXCAM is the importer.
