i plan on shooting the hell out of it,,as thats what i do,,shoot BP pistols,

I cannot find any "makers" marks ubertie/dixie or anything there are some numbers on the cylinder I've yet to strip it down to parts or take the grips off,

but i am tickled pink to have it,

any help or info on how to identify this would be helpful

closer looks and I'm thinking this is original finish, but i can't find a makers mark anywhere,
no cartouche stamps no nuthin,,, and pietta and uberti love to mark there revolvers,
I'm confounded

36 caliber

I've got a "522" stamped on the rear of the cylinder
a "280" stamped on the back-flat of the water table

the screws look to be all untouched
pulling the barrel off the frame is/was a job, its tight,

My guess would be Pietta.    9 inch barrel and the cuts on the bottom of the frame don't look the same as my Uberti Paterson.   I don't know if there any other manufacturers that produced an Paterson reproduction.
That said... looks like a nice one.    Shooting a Paterson is lots of fun,  just don't be in a hurry.

did they make them without any company markings?
I have nothing no markings on the barrel or frame not even a caliber marking, or BP only,, ect.

did they ever sell these as kits?

the gunsmith at cabbalas and the paperwork said it was a Uberti,,and he is a smart knowledgeable gunsmith I know him and his family,
but he could have been going on what he was told by the seller also,

Its got me confused thats for sure
as id like to know when it was made and by who

would there be any marking under the "water-table" ?`\

Never seen nor heard of a Kit.   I don't think I've seen a nine inch barrel on an Uberti but there might be some around.    It must have been defarbed and professionally blued again is all I can figure.    My Uberti is marked on the bottom side of the barrel with all the usual proofs and date code along with the Uberti trademark.
