As I surf this site , some older threads catch my eye...

hope y'all don't mind a resurrection of sorts

 " Even when I was riding the neighborhood range 60+ years ago my pistol of choice was the Hubley Texan 45, this piece was a good looking stylized version of the 1860 conversions. I’m quite sure the Hubley led me to my passion for the 1860 Army cap & ball and the conversions including the Open Tops "   ( excerpt from a some what related article I wrote from The NCOWS "Shootest " ) .

I found this one on Ebay several years ago... I guess what set it a part from all the others ( save from the Mattel Shoot'n 6' ) back in the day was the revolving cylinder... I recall most had cast side plate with raised cyl. profile cast in as a non-working part.
