Yeah, that's a bit steep, eh?
Just putting stuff out there for folks to make their own decisions. If someone is collecting Navy Arms guns, it may be of interest.
I paid $220 for a NIB Pietta G&G .36 from Cabela's a few years back (not on sale and never was) because I wanted it primarily for the barrel and cylinder, and the frame.
A year later I paid $170 for a NIB Pietta 1851 Navy .36 round TG (on sale) because I needed it for parts swapping between the two.
With both guns and a spare smooth cylinder I also have a Leech & Rigdon and a Schneider & Glassick.
So I got four guns for the price of two.
I guess it all depends upon the need, want, and mindset.
