1851 Navy Arms Brasser G&G Mismarked

Another candidate for a .36 G&G that has been marked "MOD. 1862 REB CONF. CAL. 36" on the upper right barrel lug. I cannot read the date code from the pics, and the screws appear to be unturned.

Yeah, that's a bit steep, eh?

Just putting stuff out there for folks to make their own decisions. If someone is collecting Navy Arms guns, it may be of interest.

I paid $220 for a NIB Pietta G&G .36 from Cabela's a few years back (not on sale and never was) because I wanted it primarily for the barrel and cylinder, and the frame.

A year later I paid $170 for a NIB Pietta 1851 Navy .36 round TG (on sale) because I needed it for parts swapping between the two.

With both guns and a spare smooth cylinder I also have a Leech & Rigdon and a Schneider & Glassick.

So I got four guns for the price of two.

I guess it all depends upon the need, want, and mindset.
