Use either Lubriplate 630-AA (or equivilent white lithium grease) or Mobil 1 synthetic grease. You guns will be happy.

Anti-seize is a mother to get off your gun and skin, and impossible to get off clothing. Trust me on this. Also, it's petroleum based which is a no-no around black powder.

I used some automotive grease in my navy and my Sharps once but I think it was synthetic. Biggest mitsake I ever made. I filled the action of the navy up with it too. It took solvent to get that crap out and it was the biggest mess. They did run good on it tho. You can see it at the rear of the cylinder in this pic.

Maybe but it wouldn't have been much easier to clean up if I'd used less. I wanted to be sure I had enough and too much is better than not enough.
