Went after sockeye...

Well, went after Sockeyes(reds) today.. hooked 2, but caught 1/2 dozen cutthroats... the reds were just not there yet in any quantity. Yet... I did find a new dip netting spot on a small creek between 2 lakes... here is a video I took...

no skeeters rightnow.. but deerflys, and no se em's ... noseeems are so big in alaska, you can actually see them... and they bite.
