Here's another, in a deep case, with extra cylinder and accoutrements, $375:

Oh, my!
That's a steal, my friend. The gun alone is worth more than that.

Yes, sir! Even though I am not rabid fan of R&S I would have bought it just for investment, and I have never seen a case like that for sale. Problem is, I have limited funds and just purchased a cased Pietta Dance .36 from the same collection (Dr. Davis') and am more than tapped out.

I just post what I think are decent deals that I find so that others who may be interested in something have an opportunity for those guns. When I post such, I am in no way connected with the seller.

Regards,

Jim

Edit: It sold about an hour ago.

I posted about this deal yesterday.    It is a decent deal but not spectacular.    The case looks like a converted silverware box to me.   The compartment area is a drop-in arrangement.  I have never seen a factory set with a case like this one but I could be wrong.   The flask is a Cabelas Remington flask and the capper & nipple wrench look to be the same inexpensive replacement items.
The big deal here is the spare cylinder.   You don't get many chances at out of production revolvers that come with a spare cylinder.   The value is in the revolver and cylinder, the rest isn't worth much.
I looked at R&S revolvers and found that last week a couple were sold for $300. So even with the extras and a spare cylinder the $375 price is good deal but not special.
