Yes, it really would.  Lots of versatility there for a range of threats or targets.  Beautiful, too.

There is a gentleman on the SASS website classifieds, that has an old Husqvarna side X side, underlever hammer gun. It has a 45-70 Gov't barrel permanently installed in the right barrel. The other barrel is still 12ga. The barrels are 20" long. It's a beautiful gun, and he only wants $500 for it. I would love to have it. But I'm still trying to figure out how to get my hands on one of those Patersons that are for sale!
