I don't know about the arbor length. I haven't got the far yet. I'm sure it's probably short like all the rest.
Nothing like a cased revolver, IMO. It looks really good in its new home. Unless my eyes deceive me, it looks like it has an 1860 Army gripframe with a brass backstrap? If so, that is another collector item to be assessed.Thanks for posting it on the BP Collector forum.JimJim

The grip is actually a Navy and the grip frame is all stainless like the rest of the gun. It's probably just the perspective from the phone camera that's throwing it off.
I gotta say, now that I own one of these guns, my appreciation for them has gone up immensely. I will definitely try to acquire more of them if they become available, and I'm able to afford them.Did I mention I really like this gun?
