Here's mine.    I've had the full size for a few years now,   I just bought the officer's model yesterday and had to wait until today to pick it up.  The Background check took 22 hours.

Here's another of mine.  .45 ACP.
This one has some sentiment to me as I carried it on several combat sorties over Serbia.

Here's another of mine; not really a 1911, but 1911-like, and strictly speaking it is not a Colt, although Colt produced this gun for many years. It is the old Colt Mustang; when they stopped making them SIG bought the rights to produce them.
Here she is in her working dress.

That extended magazine holds one more round, but still fits my Sneaky Pete "holster".  Here she is all dressed up, extended magazine with pinky grip base and trigger guard laser sight. This doesn't fit the Sneaky Pete holster.

The standard magazine holds 6 rounds, extended hold 7 rounds. This gun is the XD version, an all-stainless-steel gun. A bit heavier than the polymer frame, but it is a very soft shooting pistol. Here is a commercial magazine belt carrier.

One of the first guns my wife's eye fell on was a Sig until she saw the price.

Oh yeah, they are pricey! I got this used and at a good price...still not cheap though. It came with 3 mags and the SIG trigger guard laser. I sold that as it wasn't very bright, bought a Crimson Trace. I got the extended mags a little later. A friend has the little Ruger 380 and it is harder to rack and has a sharper recoil than my gun.
