I fully expected someone to challenge me when I didn't post a picture of my Colt (no picture, never happened). So, here it is.

You could see the cuts in the fame for a shoulder stock, here is the butt. The Colt is serial number dated to 1863.

Several years ago my daughter (RN) worked for a home nursing service. She told one of her regular patients about my love for guns and he offered to sell me 3......a Remington 1900 double 12, a S&W "Dirty Harry" 6-5/8" 44 Magnum in the factory wooden case.....and this Colt. The Colt is the only one I have left.
