Dremel shank tool holder

I happened to see a similar item on Fingers McGee's post on garage sale items. This was hiding in the back of his work bench. I have thought about a similar holder, and he motivated me into making my own.

This was a scrap piece of wood, and took 5-10 minutes to make. Three coats of TruOil on the walnut.

That's perfect Em. I have all my Dremel stuff in a tackle box.

I have a couple of small boxes of Dremel stuff too, but it is a pain to have to go through one, only to find the tool you want must be in the other box(es). This way the commonly used ones are handy. Those empty holes will be filled up soon.

Glad it works for you. It's worked for me for as long as I can recall. I really need to make a bigger one to hold more stuff though..

I'm probably going to have to make a bigger one too! I have buffing wheels, different brushes, sanding drums, burrs, etc. to add.

I've got one of these and a cased set I've had for years with a shank holder built into the case I keep the most used stuff in.

That is an awesome kit! I can see where a small tackle box would be nice also, with all those little compartments visible.
