For the FIRST loading of a revolver, rifle, or shotgun, I use the flask to dump powder. After that first loading, I use the flask to measure powder into a scoop. Normally, I just use a powder measure. I do have shot/powder snakes but don't use them as they are originals and are a bit fragile.

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I use paper cartridges and sometimes one of my flasks. But even if I am using paper carts, I still have the flask with me at the range.

I always use a flask when shooting, be it in a CAS match or off a bench.  The flask pictured is the brass version of the silver plated one I use. The stand (and another one like it) are ones I use for all revolver loading.

Way back when I had a muzzle loading Shotgun, I loaded with a flask and shot pouch with an adjustable measure

I use a flask most of the time.  If I'm not using a flask it's because I have a few paper cartridges made up and ready to go.
