Back to the Confederate revolvers. I got this in a GB auction a couple of months ago as it will most likely be a long time before Pietta makes them again, if ever.

Navy Arms/Pietta Spiller & Burr (BL/1998). It came NIB after having been in the plastic bag with beaucoup Pietta oil for over 20 years.





I knew there would be a lot of brass, but this exceeded my expectations!  ;) I still have to get a spare mainspring from VTI to pare down in a shallow "H" shape as it is almost impossible to cock the hammer with one hand. My next project.
