It ain't just about Colts around here! If it shoots Black Powder it's welcome here! Check our other sections for great Black Powder content!
Welcome from Tallahassee!Tried to post earlier but may have timed out .. it's a great bunch here and a wonderful resource... full of people who are ok with a sulfuric obsession...Back in the 70s if you were a student at Auburn and needed kegs for a party, you went to Columbus because there weren't any ( or any draft beer) in Alabama at the time. I think technically that would be untaxed in Alabama and possibly illegal, so I never actually saw that happen, but I did hear rumors about it at the time..
Welcome from Montana! As others have said you are definitely at the right place. Friendly folks and lots of knowledge! Do not fear being long winded either. When you have some time post pictures of your BP guns. Some will say, "no picture, no gun" ha! Be sure to scroll down the subjects on home page and see the many topics you can chime in on!Terry
Welcome!
A warm welcome from Wisconsin! As others have said, when you seat the ball firmly there is no air space. It is hard to know what specific problem you may run into, so when it does show up, just give a shout. Oh.....we love pictures too (or it never happened) !
I load 25 grains for .36 in steel frames. I load 35 in .44's with steel frames. As long as the ball is firmly seated on the powder charge there will be no air space. I've got relatives around Atlanta and Loganville.
After my first Remmy I said, "Ok...got THAT one covered!"
