Smoked lamb

Smoked boneless leg of lamb





Rinsed and dried lamb. Rubbed in a light coat of Tuscan Herb olive oil. coated in coarse Kosher Salt and Florida Pepper mix (coarse black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, orange zest and citric acid. Smoked with oak at a temp of around 250 for about 8 hours to an internal temp of 180.

I only visit Miner's Diner occasionally.  The reason is that his pictures induce a Pavlovian response and make me hungry.  I swear I can detect the aroma of those lovely things.

Never cared for lamb  somebody gave me some once tried to tell me it was beef I think they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes.     

That does look and sound good though.
