I like the looks of these ROA's but am not familiar with them. What time period or replica are they suposed to represent?

Well, they represent the 1970's to the present . . . umm . . they aren't a "reproduction" of anything unless you want to stretch the idea of what a "cap and ball era" version of a Blackhawk would have been
Bill liked the ROA so much that he declared that as long as he was alive, ROA's would be made!! Sure enough, after his passing, his son stopped production. Fortunately, there's a Blue Million of them out there so you can find one!!!
It features a 3-screw Blackhawk bloodline ( and was really a continuation of) and is actually what I pulled from for the coil spring action conversions that I currently install in my customers revolvers ( of all types : Remingtons, Colt open tops and of course ROA's). So, reproduction of nothing but instead, an original!!!
For me, the ability to convert them into cartridge guns with my action setup is a top achievement ( it's almost identical to the Freedom Arms action!)!!
