Well, so much for a single cavity hollow base mold being too slow to cast. I just ordered a four cavity hollow base wadcutter mold from MP Molds. I have to cast outdoors so I will have to wait a bit to try it out. My experience with a hollow base bullet(Rapine Molds) in a Uberti 51 NavyKirst with unlined barrel was very good. That bullet had a small rounded nose so I'm hoping the wadcutter profile will shoot as good with my black powder loads. Should be OK at Cowboy Match distances.
