Here are a couple pictures of an AHF gold plated and engraved 2nd Gen 1851 Navy.

It's useful and interesting to see pics of such a thing.  Thanks, Fingers. 

Can't help it though; looking that over, the phrase that jumped in my head was "circus gun".  It violates every esthetic principle of what, for me, makes a firearm perdy.  More gross and overstated than 'drop dead gorgeous'.  I've met more than a few Mexican criminals that would pimp their sisters to have something like that.

Beautiful.  I really like how the 1851 Navy lends itself well to engraving.

I usually don't care for guns like that but wouldn't mind if it were in my safe
