darn skippy i am!!!! I'll probably just start with a light "whatever I can cram in the cylinder" load...  :usa-flag-89:

i'm already thinking of having the cylinder bored to .450 and replacing the barrel with the 8" from the "target" model I bought for like $150 a few years ago...

I have a Traditions/Pietta Bison w/12" BBL with a  regular size cylinder.  Why does yours have such a long cylinder, also is that a 12" barrel  and what brand is it?

Just be careful. The things I saw in the listing made me a little cringy. That cylinder appears to be 2 cylinders welded together. And isn't the barrel smoothbore? The frame is also 2 pieces welded together if I remember correctly.

That is correct. I figure for it being 36, a 20 gn charge should be safe. I'll probably never shoot it but it will be a cool conversation piece. Make up some bs story about when the confederates ran out of steel...

I paid 400 for it, I'd let it go for the same. BTW it is not.36 it's .41 caliber.
