Howdy from Arizona
« on: November 09, 2022, 03:48:55 PM »
Howdy, my name is Phill and my user name is Arizona Six Gun.
I am a retired aerospace CNC machinist. I have been a single action gunsmith since 1978 with my on-the-side business, Arizona Six Guns, and retired from that also (with the exception of my own guns).
After getting out of the Navy in 1974, I became an actor/stuntman in the Phoenix, AZ valley, working Old West tourist attractions.
I did some stand-in work for local commercials and as an extra in “The Sacketts” , I give all that up in 1987. For the next 30 years, I kept my nose to the grindstone in the aerospace industry.

Well, then. I'm glad you decided to sign on with this brand. You got to experience both historic and modern pioneering. That's a great blend of experience.  :toast:

You are most very welcome here! I've spent the last 40+ in the aviation industry as an A&P/IA mechanic.

It always amazed me how many pounds that just paint would add to an aircraft.

I don't know about airplanes but VW Beetles in the 60's had nine pounds of paint on them.
