Mike's black powder gun videos are great, I have watched dozens of them on his YouTube channel.
My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

Mike talks fondly of the rare Rem Rider .36
I've got one! Serial number 1783. I shoot it regularly.
I'm not as fond of it as he is, but it's a nice piece of iron, well balanced.

Main spring is lifted up!
The rod in the recess acts as a breaker to force the sear to let go
