A common misconception. He actually went more in depth than I thought he would but he seemed to be at a loss as to why some 63's had a cone front sight. The pinched front sight was the last improvement  and it wasn't done until mid 1863. A lot of field officers were complaining about the cone front sights falling out of the dovetail so Remington came up with the pinched sight that was threaded into the barrel.

Personally, I think Hawg should start doing videos. He's 10 times more knowledgeable than Mike.

I dunno bout all that. He's pretty smart but if he's going to do historical videos he should do more research instead of just shrugging his shoulders and saying sometimes you see cone sights on some 63 new Models without trying to find out why.

Even if I was so inclined which I'm not I don't know the first thing about doing videos and I don't even have rumble. Besides when I talk I sound like cornbread personified. Nobody would understand a word I said.

You might be surprised. Rumble is never going to shut you down for any lame agenda. It's pretty simple, go to rumble.com and sign up.
