3 of Kaido's hunting machines!
« on: March 09, 2023, 07:33:31 AM »
Just "updated" 3 of Kaido's revolvers that had been here years ago. One of them only had flats in it  .  .  .  Including the hand spring (that was a LOOOONG time ago!!!) !
So, they're all "up to snuff" now!!

Pics coming  .  .  .

Well, he sells bullets.  He's not a  reenactor, or a cowboy shooter .  .  .  he's a hunter. So, sights you can see and picatinny rail you can throw a red dot sight on  .  .  .  are setups a "hunter" would want.
Of course now they're all updated and will withstand anything he'll put them through.

And his bullets are great!
My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

The rails do look odd on the gun. But I think it's pretty cool that he's blended 19th Century tech with modern. Not everyone's cup o' tea, but these aren't valuable originals. They're cheap Italian copies and being used as tools. And now they're indestructible Goon Guns!

Well, it gives him the ability to make a  "good" / "humane" shot using modern sights with a cap gun using his bullets.
If Hawg had his way, I'd be out if a job and everybody would think reproductions are the way the originals were!!

Like I said I know I'm an oddball. I used to keep my gunsmiths lights on by butchering WWII bolt action rifles and my 1911 has stuff on it John Browning never visualized but it doesn't have a rail or a light or a red dot or a laser and never will and no I don't think repros are exactly like the originals were.

And that's perfectly fine Hawg. If we all liked the same stuff, it would be a pretty boring world.
