Wow!!,
 Apparently the Remington should be able to handle 44 mag.
 loads. It's  so obviously "stronger" .  .  . 
The Gov. wanted a top strap design.
I like Mike somewhat but when he helps to propagate bs, I just shut down,  hit the button.

The government did want a top strap design. That's how Colt wound up with the 1873. He does propagate a lot of BS tho.

I usually enjoy Mike's video's, at least I can count on something produced once a week. I guess when there isn't more Old West/historical gun oriented material available you appreciate the effort. After following this guys output in magazines and videos for 30 years, I believe the good material he produces outweighs things that can be called into question.
