Kevin, you have always fit in from the very beginning. We'll always make room for you!

"What's Happenin'?" is asked?
Tried to use a "homemade" ram enhancer (half inch drive socket and 3" extension) on my Stainless 5.5" '58.
Created a situation where the loading ram needed taped (Mile Belivue showed a store bought one used on a 3.5" barreled adorable little engraved colt that will be my next C&B) to the barrel in order to do any shooting. (had a curvature, wouldn't latch. Fixed now)

Decided one of two things: A: this Stainless becomes my first cartridge conversion; or B: I buy a "Tower ofPower" type device.
@Antique Sled Man... I can't remember my "The High Road" log in...

Help some brothers out here, and post this PDF:

Hello Clydesdale4x4,

I have suffered from a Hard Drive Crash, so I lost a lot of my stuff.
However, I do have an article, "My Cylinder Press" which I hope helps you out.

Bummer about the hard drive crash. I've had that happen in the past and it's no fun. Hopefully you can recover most of your user files from a backup or something.

Hello Will,

I had been getting warnings for the last 6 months,
and I had most of my stuff backed up on a USB drive.
I've been debating about getting a new computer,
but I didn't find what I really wanted so I simply put a new SSD drive in my old Dell.
Of course that meant moving up to Windows 10 and I hate it,
but I also hated Windows 7 till I got used to using it .
This is the last update my old Dell can handle,
so we'll just have to see how long it keeps plugging along.

Yeah, computers can be a bother. Good thing you had most of it backed up.

If you don't like Windows and can get by without any software that needs to be on it, try Linux for your OS. You can even install it so your computer has a dual boot giving you a choice. Then you can get used to it without any problems. I switched years ago and haven't looked back. It's more secure, runs faster and is open source so if you like it, you can donate to them if you want but there's no outlay for it or any software that runs on it. Here's the download page for Linux Mint and here's the forum where you can ask any questions about it. I like the Cinnamon version because the desktop is similar to the way Windows 7 was but you can decide for yourself on that.

I go with Will.
Changed to Linux years ago and never looked back.
Got my instructions from
https://itsfoss.com/install-ubuntu/
(there's prolly some more up to date versions)
I can do all I need on Linux and I am no longer hassled by MS.

Hey Guts,

Not wanting to get anybody's feathers ruffled,
I've been running XUBUNTU on my netbook for years, it's a lighter version of Ubuntu.
I have had a desktop setup with Ubuntu, Mint, and even Peppermint.
They all worked well, but my issue is with software.
First, I can't find a CAD program that I liked to run on them.
Second, I do a lot of stuff with Video's and again can't find software to run.
Linux is a great system and it doesn't try to control you like Microsoft.

I moved home to Newfoundland last November after being away for 50 years. Between the new house, helping my Dad deal with throat cancer diagnosis and treatments as well as maintaining the remaining clients I have not a lot of time to do much else but things are starting to slow down so should be able to get back to the range this summer.
