New guy, old question

Mike, from SC. In my modest Colt collection I have three long guns: a Baby Lightning in .44WCF, a Root short rifle in .56 percussion, and a Root 20 gauge percussion. The .56 is SN 16x, and the 20 gauge is SN 46x, and I can't find production dates for either one. Any clues?

Welcome to the forum. Those sound like cool longarms. Have you tried the Colt Lookup to find the year?
