Hi Kirk, no, I didn't know that. If there is an uprising I will just have more free targets.  :-* :-* :-*

Richard

Hi Kirk, I agree. While I can shoot from up to 140yds on my targets, the distance behind the target backstop is ~100+ yds to a road. All rounds must not go past the backstop. I have another piece of property with a sufficient hill behind that would allow a wide assortment of targets, but that distance is limited to ~25yds and would require more walking to go shooting.

The backstop targets in the photo can be easily changed out for others. Most things in life are limited, so is my range, but I'm very happy for the convenience of being able to shoot after leaving my house with a less than 100yd walk.

Regards,
Richard

Hope this one won't piss off the Indians.

Regards,
Richard

That steel hog is just the thing.  I don’t think any indigenes will mind you shooting at that.  Shooting at that albino buff is another matter though, especially if yer wearing a Cleveland baseball hat at the time.

I can see one of those big steel hogs in my tea leaves and may need to get one for here pretty soon.  When they get shot my big coffee cans don’t make near enough noise to suit me.

I very much like those piano keys in the advertisement.  Not expensive and ship free.

Enjoy that hog.

Hi, the piggy is creeping around the backstop waiting to be shot.

I bet you are wondering what's with a flying buffalo?

Great set ssb.  That gear puts a positive new spin on the notion of a “target rich environment”.  I’m especially partial to that pig though.  That porcine silhouette really invites a pistol shot.

Hi Kirk, those are two IPSC Targets. The larger one is supported by a steel channel. My son-in-law is magnetically drawn to the channel and shoots holes in it. See some of his past shot up channels on the top of the backstop. The small IPSC target is AR500 steel that protects the support channel. Now that my son-in-law can't shoot the support channel anymore he is working on shooting the chain bolts that hold the gongs up.  He got one already.  (7+"

Hi, a new target for my steel target range has been ordered:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/AR500-Steel-12-x-13-x-1-2-Turkey-Target-Hunting-Practice-Gobbler-Male-Turkey/232953338417?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

That should provided a great target practice for shooting turkeys using a flintlock rifle shooting from 100yds. Okay, maybe 50yds?  :) :)

Richard
