"Modern" seems to encompass all cartridge type guns. So, yeah, your's counts.

My New Service doesn't have a bobbed hammer and is in 41 Colt. Nice shooting; do you hand load?

I do hand load, but the ammunition used here was a commercial product.

I would like to see pictures of your .41 caliber New Service.  I've not seen one before.

Thanks

Isn't there a senator in Mississippi who has been advocating making the definition of "antique" firearm a floating term of 100 years?

By that definition your revolver is nearing antique-ness.

Sweet, Mazo! Did you make the grips or buy them? (or did they come with the gun)?

Hi, the top one is a real Colt, but the bottom two shoot .45 Colt. Do they also count?

I got the gun several years ago from a dealer in Texas. The grips were on the gun, so have no history.
