Sending it back for exchange. Wasn't even any paperwork in the box it came in. After a 1/2 doz. guns, 1st time disappointment w/Cabela's. Asked me on the phone if I wanted a refund. No way, just want a good 1. After getting back to Colt, not about to do without 1. Much Remmie fondling today, tho, for sublimation.  :)

Out of seven Pietta’s from Cabela’s I have made five returns.  Two of the seven were returned twice.  They finally got it right though.  Durn near kilt me, like a little kid waiting for Christmas that just won’t happen.  But then it did.  You’ll get a nice ’60 yet Remmie,  just you wait.

A Remington for ‘sublimation’.  I liked that.  Been there too.  Hang in, that Colt is acomin’ sure.

Great support in these 2 forums; never been in any others like 'em. It takes a bro to know a bro.  :)

You were right; it came today. Everything works well & fits easily -- including the Navy sheriff barrel. Ultimate gun for fondling.  :)

Good deal Remmie, that’s super.  I’m real pleased for you, we all are, you bet. Took a while but at this point I guess it was worth the wait, sounds like it was.  Post a family snap when ya get the chance.

Congrats to you.

Currently, my favorite is- Blackboxer 1862 Pocket Navy with oiled grips.  Great balance, looks,  feel and punch.  With minimal powder and a  fairly large conical ball, it fires like a puffed up .22.  With full powder and a round ball, this sucker knocks the hell out of the target!  A good kick and the ball fuggers up all to hey! ,  the target.

Just fired it.

I like it.
