Googly moogly, that looks good! I don't tire of looking at clean rigs like this.

Great job Mike!

Question....how do you do your double lines on the border?
Barry King 3/16 beading blade in my Barry King swivel knife,  then bevel with my Barry King push beveler.  I use a divider to mark the line and then freehand the cut.  Edge guides have never been a favorite of mine.
(Have I mentioned that Barry King is a great guy and I love his tools.)

Thanks,
I meant to post this pic as the first one but I missed it somehow.

Thanks Mike! Barry King stuff is awesome that's for sure. I freehand as well.... was thinking maybe there was an easier way. I do have a double cut swivel blade....but haven't used it for much of anything.

Very nice job, Mike!
And you stuck a Remi in the holster. I like that too.
I know, I stick my neck out in this place, but I'm kind of partial to Remis.

Me too, I love looking at holsters and photos of them. Of course I have the book "Packing Iron."
My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

Haven't posted anything for some time now. Have to make amends. Will start with some old stuff (re-cycling is acceptable these days, I think). This is an Oklahoma Leather holster that I altered to fit my 1858 Remi NMA and become a cross draw. Certainly not a de luxe, but good enough for a back woods yokal

Nice stuff Len!

I'm really envious of that Smith carbine. I gotta have one of those someday.
