Had to drive an hour and a half to help my buddy's widow set up her wireless internet. On the way back, I stopped at my favorite LGS. They had a Romanian SKS they wanted almost $800 for! I picked up a Ruger Security 9. Lightly used, but looked like new. The owner told me who the gun came from. Another regular I know who is meticulous about gun maintenance. No worries there. Came with box, all paper work, 2 extra mags, and had the Talon grip wraps installed. Fits my hand perfectly, great sights and feels good. $239.00

Derby's were fairly popular in the old west. Maybe more by townspeople but popular nonetheless. Derby's were called bowlers in England and bowlers were called derby's in the U.S.

One other weird event from yesterday. Driving down the highway toward home. Ahead, I see one of those white crosses on the side of the road. As I pass it, I catch sight out of the corner of my eye of a guy on a motorcycle sitting by it. I look in my rear-view mirror and there's no motorcycle, and no guy, and nowhere they could have gone.
