Actual statement between my wife and I a little while ago.

"Honey, why didn't you tell me to pick up a router while I was at the hardware store?"

I leave it to you to figure out who said it.

Wife to me: Did you remember to buy router bits when you picked up the router?

Me: D'oh!

Actually, I already had router bits. Don't ask me why, as I have never owned a router. Finished first project. Made a replacement part for one of the wife's looms.

The day before yesterday, I'm sitting in my work truck at one of our mobile substations, waiting to send power to a mining shovel. I get the word, hop out and send power. I turn around to find a half dozen big horn sheep standing on the other side of my truck. No real camera, and my phone is in the truck. As soon as I move towards the truck, they bug out.

Wow...that would be an experience!

Stopped at a local grocery store yesterday. While shopping I went down an aisle with an older man and an old lady. The older man is looking at canned something or other, and the old woman is huffing and sighing while she waits for him to get out of her way. All of the sudden, her turns to her and says loudly, in a thick British accent "AH, SOD OFF!" It was all I could do not to lose it right there.

Drinking coffee while waiting for a company and federally mandated web class to begin.

Yesterday I picked up a very nice Ruger P89. Original box, all paperwork, and I do mean all. Original envelope, manuals, brochures, gun shop price tag, original sales slip as well as 4 receipts for layaway payments for the original owner. original plastic bag with vci paper in it. both original mags. It has very little wear and the barrel is bright and sharp.

A 7X beaver El Az in silverbelly. It's a discontinued hat. Been looking for a decent fur felt hat for a while. They cost as much as a decent BP revolver. Fortunately I found a used one for a hell of a lot less $$. It'll take some cleaning and forming, but I'm ready!
